Well-placed sources said that 43-year old Carlos Antonio Ferreira’s condition was listed as stable.
He was expected to be air-dashed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) for surgery.
Sources said the man was taken to the Mahdia Hospital from Karisparu, Region 8.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear
