Three dead in accident at Annai

Three persons were Thursday killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a car at Rupertee Village, Annai, residents said.

Dead are Davis Williams,43, Berlinda Georg, 53, and 58-year old Henry George.

Sources said the three persons were crossing a main road on their way to a farm when the car slammed into them. “The entire Annai District is in a state of shock and sadness,” said a community activist.

Anna is located in Rupununi, southern Guyana.
