Mocha man shot dead

At about 0100h. today Sunday March 08, 2015, Jermain Giles, 35 years, of Barnwell North, Mocha, EBD, was awakened by a noise at his door, police said.

He opened a window to check and was shot to his head in the process.

Two men entered the house through the open window and held up Giles’ reputed wife Joylyn Oliver. They searched the home and took away a cell phone and escaped.

Jermain Giles was taken to the GPHC where he was pronounced DOA.

Investigations are in progress.
