Man arrested for Plaisance woman’s murder, burglary

Investigators said jewellery and electronic equipment were missing from the home of 57-year old Jennifer Ann Mendonca. Her body was found about 9 O’clock Friday night in her home with her mouth and hands tied with duct tape.

An autopsy is to be performed on Mendonca’s body to assist sleuths in their probe.
