A Barima River Toshao (Amerindian Village Chief) has been accused of impregnating his 10 year old daughter, according to usually reliable sources.
He is expected to be charged on Wednesday.
The matter came to light after the girl, who lives at Smith’s Creek, Morawhanna,Barima River, was taken to the Mabaruma Hospital because she was unwell. The girl is a primary school student.
