Roger Luncheon builds house at Pradoville 2

Last Updated on Saturday, 26 December 2015, 20:59 by GxMedia

Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon- long considered one of the few remaining modest and humble members of the Peoples Progressive Party (PPP)- has built a house at ‘Pradoville 2’.

Officially known as Sparendaam, the area is the site of an upscale housing area for several current and former senior government officials including Former President, Bharrat Jagdeo.

luncheon kittyLuncheon, who has been living for decades in a simple but well-secured house on Stanley Place, Kitty, could soon be moving into the posh newly-built house close to Jagdeo’s. Luncheon’s new house is located on a plot of land on which three others of a similar size can fit comfortably.

It was not immediately clear when he would be moving in.

Luncheon has not been at Office of the President for more than one month now, fuelling fears that he is critically ill.

Officials have, however, said that the man who holds several other portfolios- Cabinet Secretary, Secretary to the Defence Board and Chairman of the Board of the National Insurance Scheme-has not been at Office of the President for more than one month now.

Government officials have confirmed that Luncheon has been unwell and he would decide whether he needed to go overseas for treatment.

Presidential Advisor on Governance, Gail Teixeira has been performing a number of Luncheon’s duties at the Office of the President.
