A Sophia resident was shot to his abdomen during a robbery just outside his home.
Police said 43-year old Paul Hutson was attacked about 9:15 Saturday night by one bandit.
“The armed man took away his jewellery and cell phones during which Paul Hutson was shot to his abdomen,” police said.
He has been admitted to a private hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, a .38 revolver was found on a man on Sunday when he was searched by police at Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara.
He has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
