Three persons were killed and 16 others injured in a vehicular collision the Essequibo Coast late Friday night.
Other sources have put the death toll as much as five.
Sources said a minibus collided with a car on the Richmond Village Public Road at about 11 PM.. Residents rushed to the mangled vehicles to remove the occupants.

injured were air-dashed early Sunday morning to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for advanced treatment.
