A cattle owner of Garden of Eden, East Bank Demerara has pleaded guilty to three counts of suffering stray cows in violation of the Road Act and he was fined a total of GY$30,000, the Guyana Police Force said Saturday.
He was also warned to take appropriate measures to properly secure his animals.
Police said Denesh Rohit, 54, committed the offences within Prospect Young Professional Housing Scheme, Herstelling Housing Scheme, and Farm Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
He appeared at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court on Friday before Magistrate Dylon Bess, where the charges were read to him.
He pleaded guilty and was fined GY$10,000 on each count, police said.
