France-bound cocaine intercepted

Anti-narcotics agents of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Friday afternoon intercepted more than two kilogrammes of cocaine that was being shipped to France.

Investigators said  a package containing 2 kilogrammes, 700 grammes of cocaine was intercepted at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport at about 1:30 PM on Friday January 15, 2016.

The narcotic was being shipped to France via a courier service.
