Two Russian diplomats were Saturday morning injured in a vehicular accident in Georgetown.They left the vehicle and sought medical attention at a nearby hospital.
A woman sustained serious injury to her face.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle, bearing license number plate DPL 9-05, was travelling in a west along New Market Street when it collided with a car that was travelling south along Main Street.
The driver of the car sustained injuries to his mouth.
Blood was seen inside the Russian embassy’s vehicle slammed into a utilty pole near the north-western fence of State House. The entire front of the car was smashed in beyond repair and the airbags blew out on impact.
