Soldiers shot

Last Updated on Thursday, 17 September 2015, 20:59 by GxMedia

Police Thursday afternoon confirmed that two soldiers were shot late Wednesday night at the Georgetown Seawall.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 PM.

Police said a probe revealed that Andries Henry and King Pablo were with other persons on the seawalls, when they were approached by three men during which one of them discharged rounds from a handgun at the soldiers and escaped on motor cycles.

Andries Henry was hit to his left foot while King Pablo was shot to his right foot. They have been admitted to hospital, police said.
