Intruder at PPP Headquarters shot

Investigations are being conducted into an incident that occurred at about 2320h. last night Friday August 14, 2015, in the compound of Freedom House, Robb Street, Georgetown, in which a so far unidentified man was shot and injured by a security guard.

Investigations have revealed that the man was seen on the roof of the kitchen part of the premises and in efforts to apprehend him, he attacked the security guard with a knife and was shot. He has been admitted a patient under guard at the GPHC.
