Two wanted for shooting death of gay sex worker

Police on Saturday issued wanted bulletins for two persons they believe are linked to the gunning down of a gay sex worker after one of his clients was apparently dissatisfied with the services that were provided.

Those wanted are Ron Forde called ‘Andel’ and Kanand Ojha are wanted by the police for questioning in relation to investigations into the murder of Noel Luther.

Luther was shot dead during the pre-dawn hours of July 22, 2015, at Carmichael and Quamina Streets, Georgetown.

Investigators said ayone with information that may lead to the arrest of Ron Forde called ‘Andel’ and/or Kanand Ojha  is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-8196, 226-7065, 227-1149, 911 or the nearest police station.

The last known addresses of Forde, who was born on 1972-August-29,  are Lot 19 Meadow Bank, East Bank Demerara and Lot 31 Rahaman’s Park, East Bank Demerara. Ojah, whose date of birth is 1981-February-15, is a businessman whose last known address is Lot 2 First Street, Meadow Bank..
