A Guyanese security guard, who allegedly attempted to take a huge quantity of marijuana and cocaine to Barbados, was arrested at the Ogle International Airport.

Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) agents arrested the 29-year old man who lives at Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara.

He was Wednesday afternoon preparing to board a LIAT flight to Barbados.

A senior CANU agent alleged that the man was carrying two kilogrammes of marijuana and one kilogramme of cocaine.
