Alberttown fire leaves several homeless

A house occupied by several persons in Alberttown was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.

The house was located on 122 Fourth Street Alberttown between (Albert and Light Streets) a short distance from the Alberttown Police Station.

Three siblings and their parents occupied the house.  The husband and wife were in Bartica at the time of the incident.

The names of the occupants were given as Rafeek 57, Zilla 52, Yaniv,18, Shazad Khan,13, Reno Thomas, 19,and 30-year old Trevor Hohenkirk.

The fire started near the electrical meter in the vicinity of the verandah.
