Fire in South Ruimveldt leaves four homeless

Fire Thursday night destroyed a house on Greenheart Street, South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown leaving a family of four homeless, eyewitnesses said.

The cause of the blaze was not immediately known, but a loud explosion was heard before the fire engulfed the wooden structure.

A husband, wife and two children lived in the house.
