Fisherman killed, dumped in Atlantic Ocean

Police are probing the alleged murder of a fisherman and the dumping of his body overboard.

Three men were arrested on Thursday, March 19, 2015 “and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.” 

The dead man has been identified as 19-year old Avo Singh of Dundee, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara. His body has not been recovered.

Police say he was killed on Tuesday, March 17,2015 aboard a fishing boat in the Atlantic Ocean off the foreshore of Bush Lot, Berbice.
