Two men, who allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a school in Lethem, have been arrested, police said.
Investigators said at about 7 O’clock Thursday morning (March 19, 2015) it was discovered that the Machuine Primary School at Lethem, had been broken into and the sum of GUY$408,000.00 stolen.
Police said they responded to the report and following investigations conducted, arrested two men and recovered GUY$378,000.00 of the stolen cash.
The two men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
