Mahaica vegetable vendor shot, robbed during home invasion

A vegetable vendor was Wednesday night shot and robbed at his home at Supply, Mahaica, and two of  the four suspected bandits were caught at Unity Village, police and residents said. Fmr. G/T Magistrate Court employee caught with cocaine again

A former Office Assistant at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, who was previously convicted for cocaine smuggling, was Wednesday afternoon caught again with two kilogrammes of cocaine that he was hoping to take to Barbados, according to well-placed sources.
