Another high-ranking official in ‘A’ Division told reporters that gunshots were fired during the chase in Kitty.
Residents in the vicinity of David and Lamaha Streets, Kitty reported hearing gunshots about 10 AM.
It was not immediately clear whether a firearm was found in the car that was transporting the men and the marijuana.
