Smoke in cockpit forces plane to return to Ogle Airport

A small airplane that was heading to the interior Friday morning swiftly returned to the Ogle International  Airport after the pilot saw smoke in the cockpit, according to usually reliable sources.

The Cessna U206G, bearing registration number 8R-GHB, departed Ogle at 11:42 AM for Eteringbang.

However, by 11:45 AM the plane returned to the airport with fire fighters on standby.

No one was injured.

The plane, which was being piloted by Emil Jahan, belongs to the domestic airline, Fenix Airways.

Jahan is listed on the United States Federal Aviation Administration’s Airmen Certification Database.
