The capture of Jerome Franklin aboout 8 AM by police came eight days after he committed the gruesome crime on December 18 at Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo.

“He was arrested in the Tuschen Backdam and is in police custody where he will be charged shortly for court,” Guyana Police Force spokesman, Ivelaw Whittaker said in a statement.

Those killed are 55-year-old, Bibi Zalima Khan, 9-year-old Ashley Boodhoo, and 30 year old upholsterer Floyd Drakes.

Investigators have already learnt that Franklin smashed through a window on the fateful day and began chopping everyone in his path.
