A Chinese restaurant in Mahdia was Sunday night robbed by several bandits who carted off GUY$3 million and a quantity of raw gold, police said.
At about 9:45 PM, businessman Lejum Jhang, 62 years, of 111 Miles, Mahdia was robbed by four masked men, three of whom were armed with firearms.
Investigations have revealed that Lejum Jhang was in the process of closing his business, at 111 Miles, when the four men entered his business,
held him at gun point, and proceeded to robbed him of $3M Guyana currency and one ounce of raw gold.
