Bandits grab pension money from post office

Bandits Monday morning struck at the Guyana Post Office’s Carmichael and Lamaha Street branch from where they carted off GUY$4 million. Police said one of the perpetrators struck the security guard with a “hard object.”. Investigators said no shots were fired. The money was to be used to pay Old Age Pensions.
