Two men- a vendor and a minibus driver- were shot and injured in two separate incidents within the past 24 hours.

36-year old Troy Bacchus of West Ruimveldt and bus driver 71-year old Shawn Sancho of Hadfield Street, Georgetown were admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.

Police said that about 8:30 Sunday night, Bacchus was at his stall on Orange Walk, Bourda, when a man approached and shot him thrice to his legs and escaped.

Sancho was parking his vehicle about 1:30 Monday morning when he  was held at gunpoint by two men who demanded cash.

Sancho resisted and was shot to his right thigh by one of the men, who took away GUY$5,000.00 from the victim, after which the perpetrators escaped.
