Dead is Michael “Mikel” Hamilton, a mason. His sister, Ramona Marshall, identified the suspected shooter as Oswald who earlier today went to the stand and told Michael in her presence “ah got meh gun on meh.”
It is unclear whether he died on the spot or at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. He was shot to his leg and left side chest.
Relatives said Hamilton was killed two days after he had “rushed” to one of the gang members, causing one of his sisters to hold him back.
Two months ago, a man named “Trini” had allegedly had shot him in Vryheid’s Lust, Marshall told reporters. She said that her brother had constantly intimidated him. She said a report had been made about that shooting incident but she did not believe that police had taken any action.
