Tree crushes logger in Ituni

A logger was Tuesday morning crushed to death in Ituni by a tree, relatives said. 

He has been identified as 37-year old Steve Daw of Coomacka Mines, Linden. 

Relatives said he was cutting a tree when it fell and crushed him around 7 AM Tuesday.

The body was brought out from the logging concession late Wednesday night and placed at a mortuary in Linden.

The father of one was a former student of Linden Foundation School. He had 12 brothers and six sisters.
