Fire destroys Parfaite Harmonie house

Fire Easter Monday night destroyed a huge two-flat wooden house at Parfaite Harmone, West Bank Demerara. Fire Chief Marlon Gentle confirmed that the blaze occurred at First Avenue. He said fire fighters managed to prevent the fire from destroying two nearby houses. No one was injured. A citizen reporter said the building was unoccupied.
