A porter of Puran’s Waste Disposal Company was Saturday morning crushed by the garbage collection truck moments after he had told the driver to reverse, according to eyewitnesses.
The incident occurred at Flamboyant Square, Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
The driver has been detained.
An official of Puran’s could not immediately disclose the identity of the porter.
