Electrical fire destroys workshop at Pritipaul Singh Investments

A fire of electrical origin Saturday night destroyed a mechanical workshop at Pritipaul Singh Investments (PSI), Mc Doom, East Bank Demerara, sources said.

The workshop and contained boat-building tools and other items.

Investigators believed that the facility’s electrical wiring was faulty.

That blaze occurred at about 11 PM.

Back in June , 2010 an electrical fire aboard the trawler, Captain Lloyd 97, had resulted in the severe burning of one crew member and the disappearance of another while they were at sea.
