A family of three was Easter Monday rendered homeless by fire at Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara.

The name of one of the occupants has been given as Bernadette Hinds.

The fire of electrical origin severely damaged the wooden house at Plantain Walk, Beterverwagting.

No one was injured.
