Three children on their way to sit the National Grade Six Assessment Examination were Thursday morning seriously hurt in an accident on the East Bank Essequibo Public Road.
The name of their school was not immediately known.
Eyewitnesses said a bus transporting beef collided with the minibus in which the children were travelling.
