Sattaur was charged with having at her business place Guinness, Stag beer, Corona beer, Banks beer and Mackeson for sale without obtaining a liquor licence.
She was also charged with being the occupier of a shop at Station Street, Kitty which was not license to sell malt or wine.
The woman had already paid for her licence prior to being charged by the Police but it was not issued to her, since the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) only issues licenses after the budget.
Police prosecutor Mangru said the Director of the Public Prosecutions (DPP) Chambers advised that the charges be withdrawn and Sattaur’s property returned.
The seizure were made at her business place on Wednesday, February 12, last and the woman appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on Thursday, February 13.
