The police are investigating the death of a Plaisance, East Coast Demerara man whose body was found on the road early Wednesday morning even as they seek to ascertain the identity of another found at Mabura.
The Plaisance man has been identified as Clifford Singh, 35, of Prince William Street.
“His body was found with suspected marks of violence at about 0215h. today Wednesday August 14, 2013, on Prince William Street,” a release from the force said.
A post mortem examination is to be conducted on the body.
Meanwhile, the police are also seeking the public’s assistance to identify the body of a man that was found at 47 Miles, Mabura, on Saturday. The body is at the Lyken Funeral Home.
Anyone with information that may lead to the identification of the deceased is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 444-3406, 444-3512, 911 or the nearest police station.
