Ten persons were Wednesday nabbed by Guyanese police in connection with the interceā€Žption of more than six kilogrammes of cocaine concealed in a consignment of frozen fish that was bound for the United States.

Police said that at about 2:10 AM on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 anti-narcotics police seized 6.44 kilos of the narcotic ā€Žat the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.

The shipment of frozen fish consisted of several boxes, investigators said.
