Achieving Women’s Rights Still an Uphill Battle- Guyana Human Rights Association

Last Updated on Sunday, 8 May 2016, 16:25 by Denis Chabrol

Competition in the telecommunications industry is heating up with both major phone service providers rolling out various packages to woo customers.

The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) has announced that all mobile pre- paid customers would receive a 10% free bonus credit on every top up (cards and electronic) and a 5% free bonus credit on the value of their monthly DSL invoice when timely paid, via MMG (Mobile Money Guyana).

The new offers come at a time when for the first time Guyanese are experiencing faster data speeds on their mobile phone plans. “GTT already provided the best value in Guyana and with GTT Bonus Wallet we are even doing more for our customers. With more new services coming up and new 4G data plans to be launched shortly, this is an excellent time to switch to GTT and do MORE with your money”, said Gert Post, GTT’s Chief Commercial Officer.

The bonus credit can be used for calls to all networks in or outside Guyana, and/or to buy a data plan.

GTT says the free credit will be stored in a personal Bonus Wallet. This Bonus Wallet is FREE and applying is simple. Just text BONUS to 620-0664 (FREE) and it will be activated within 24 hours.

Customers can redeem their bonus credit by dialing *123#.

The FREE bonus credit is valid for a period of three months from the date received. The Bonus Wallet can hold a maximum of G$25,000.
