Tip-off leads to cocaine arrests in West Demerara

Anti-drug agents on Wednesday seized 22.394 kilogrammes of cocaine on the La Grange Public Road and arrested two Guyanese men, the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) said.

The agency said its officers received information and conducted and intercepted a motor vehicle.

“A subsequent search of the motor vehicle revealed 20 brick-like parcels containing a quantity of cocaine,” CANU said.
