A quantity of marijuana in white oats packets, bound for Region 7, was intercepted at the Eugene F. Correia “Ogle” International Airport on Wednesday, police said.
No one was arrested.
Police said the 60 grammes of marijuana in 13 Ziploc bags in four white oats packets were found in cargo bound for Chi-Chi village, Region 7 (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).
The narcotic was reportedly found at 11:25 a.m.
Investigations are ongoing, police added.
