A man previously known to the police was gunned down outside his Laing Avenue, Georgetown home on Monday, August 1, 2016 during an argument over bail money, a senior police officer said.
Dead is 32 year old Orin David.
Head of the Guyana Police Force’s Criminal Investigations Department, Senior Superintendent Wendell Blanhum said police have since begun searching for several suspects.
They are Howard Rambarose and Romel Ross along with three others.

Blanhum explained that David and two other known characters ‎had an argument which stemmed from them putting up cash to bail David for a criminal matter.

Investigators further learned that  despite the fact that David was released, he failed to honor his financial obligations which led to an argument and subsequently his death.

During his lifetime, David had been implicated and charged for a number of gun related offences.
