A fire early Sunday afternoon severely damaged a house at Friendship, East Bank Demerara.
Fire Service officials confirmed that a two-flat wooden and concrete house was ablaze. A nearby house was scorched.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Details were sketchy. An update will be provided as more information becomes available
