Jamaican held during cocaine seizure

 A  Jamaican man on Sunday remained in custody following the seizure of cocaine at a house at Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara.

Investigators said during Saturday April 02, 2016, ranks of the Police Narcotics Unit conducted a search at the house during which one kilogram of cocaine which had been compressed in the form of shoe soles was found.

A man who is a Jamaican national has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
