Head of UG Law Department injured in road accident

The Head of the University of Guyana’s (UG) Law Department, Sheldon Mc Donald was injured in a vehicular accident Friday night, according to well-placed sources.

The incident occurred inside Success Village, East Coast Demerara.

Mc Donald, a Jamaican who once worked at the Caribbean Community (Caricom) Secretariat, sustained injuries to chest and other parts of his body.

He was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).

Demerara Waves Online News was told that a vehicle slammed into the car that Mc Donald was driving at the time and then his vehicle struck another one.
