No one was reported injured in the incident that occurred about 9:40 AM.
The sources said that Captain Michael Halim related that the brakes for the Britten Norman Islander, bearing registration number 8R-GAR, failed on landing.
This latest incident involving an ASL plane came one month after a Britten Norman Islander belonging to that domestic airline went missing while on shuttle flight from Mahdia to Karisparu.
