Colwyn Harding- the man who has alleged that police had sodomized him with a baton- was Monday back in hospital with a protruding intestine after a man allegedly cuffed him.

Harding’s condition is listed as serious. He was due to undergo emergency surgery later in the day, according to well-placed sources.

He was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital about 3 O’clock Monday morning.

Harding is currently on bail for allegedly chopping and robbing Cheryl Ann-Hope of several phones on July 9, 2014.

Two policemen, who  have been implicated in the condom-covered sodomy allegedly committed him, are also on bail.

Constables Devin Singh and Rosell Tilbury were charged with Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm allegedly committed on Harding between November 1 and November 30, 2013. Singh was charged with assault  between November 1 and November 30, 2013. They  have pleaded not guilty to the offences and have been granted a total of GUY$300,000 bail.

Harding has also sued the State for more than GUY$80 million for alleged torture and other constitutional infringements in relation to the alleged sodomy.
