A tractor driver on Friday remained in police custody in connection with the death of a man who was travelling on trailer at Kwakwani, Berbice River.
Police identified the dead man as Imtiaz Hussain. Investigatoers said that about 9 O’clock Thursday night, he fell off the rail of the trailer and was run over by the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Kwakwani Hospital.
