A senior official of Courts (Essequibo Coast branch) succumbed to multiple injuries she sustained in a road accident Saturday night on the Essequibo Coast public road.
Demerara Waves Online News was told that 32-year old Chandani Das died early Monday morning after undergoing emergency surgery.
She received injuries to her head, neck, chest and other areas of her body when the car she was driving ended up in a canal after colliding with another vehicle.
The accident occurred on the Armadale Public Road.
