Secondary school teacher goes missing after Basketball Championship

A 34-year old Saint Stanislaus College teacher has gone missing after she was last seen at a Basketball game at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.

Her brothe, Nestor Thompson, told Demerara Waves that the last time he spoke to his sister, Nyozi Goodman, was on Sunday, July 3 after midday.

He said after calls to her phone proved futile, later in the day he started enquiring about her whereabouts.

He was later informed  by several students that she, along with another teacher, had accompanied the Saint Stanislaus Basketball Team to the Nationals Schools’ Basketball Championship at the Gymnasium.

Students further informed Thompson that after the game she told them to go ahead and that she was waiting on someone to pick her up.

Nyozi Goodman is said to be 5 feet, 5 inches tall, dark brown in complexion and resides at William Street, Kitty, Georgetown.

Anyone with information that can help to find the thirty four year old teacher is asked to contact her brother on telephone number 6924526 or the nearest police station.
