A British national was Friday arrested allegedly with a quantity of cocaine in milk tins shortly before he was about to board a flight to New York, a well-placed source said.
The 29-year old man was taken into custody after agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) said they found the narcotic in several five-pound milk tins.
He was due to leave about 4 PM on a Travel Span flight. CANU agents said the tins were in his checked-in luggage.
The arrest of the Briton marked the second such similar cocaine bust at that airport for Friday.
The first was an American man who was caught allegedly with more than seven kilogrammes of cocaine in packets of milk. At the time, he was an outgoing passenger to the United States (US).
