Pomeroon man feared drowned in boat collision

Investigators were told that the man is only known as “Blacker” of Grant Phoenix Park, Lower Pomeroon. “He is believed to have drowned,” said police force spokesman, Ivelaw Whittaker.

One of the boat captains fled the scene and the other was arrested in connection with the accident that occurred about 9:30 Monday night.
